Creator Convention Toronto - October 9-11, 2026
A Dealer or Vendor is a person or business that sells goods to the public in relatively small quantities for use or consumption rather than for resale, preferably created or designed by the Dealer and of interest to our attendees. The terms Dealer and Vendor may be used interchangeably in this document.
This Vendor Information Package is available publicly to offer guidance to any person applying to vend at CCT26. This document contains important rules, restrictions, and guidelines applicable to every Vendor. By accepting a placement in our CCT26 Vendor Hall, you are agreeing that you understand and will abide by the Vendor Information Package 2026 and the CCT26 Code of Conduct.
Please note that this Vendor Information Package is subject to change at any time. Any changes will be communicated on the website and forwarded to Dealers individually through their application-listed email. Any questions relating to Dealers should be sent to the Vendor Hall team at dealer@cctoronto.org. Privately messaging CCT26 Staff members instead of communicating through official email will delay responses. All inquiries, comments, and other items related to the Vendor Hall or the event CCT26 should be sent by email for the most timely response.
Applications for 2026 are now open! Apply here!
You must be 18 years old or older as of Friday, October 9, 2026, to vend at CCT26. Minors, even if accompanied by an adult, may not apply independently for a table in the Dealer Hall without previous discussion with Dealer Staff.
Dealers are NOT chosen on a first-come-first-served basis. Instead, the CCT26 Dealer Staff carefully considers each application and Dealer. We look at your fit with our event, our theme, and our mission, as well as keeping in mind attendee needs and preferences. Dealers of all types are encouraged to apply, even if they aren’t sure they will fit in for a given year, as we want to keep variety and choice in mind for our attendees. Our waitlist will be carefully reviewed in the case of cancellations to be sure that a good balance is maintained. Also, as our first year is limited in size, we plan to keep contact with interested Dealers that don’t make it in this year, since we anticipate a larger space for 2027.
One table: $100***
***Registration is not included in table price and will need to be purchased separately. All Dealers and their Assistant(s) must have a valid event badge for the day(s) that they vend.
***Power access is not guaranteed. Please see below section on Electricity for details.
***A second table may be available with further discussion and additional cost. Please email dealer@cctoronto.org with your interest.

In general, CCT26 expects all participants of the event to be mindful of each other. For the safety and comfort of all Dealers and attendees, the following non-exhaustive list of rules is provided for guidance.
Be professional! - Our general standard of behaviour is detailed in the CCT26 Code of Conduct. The Dealer Staff appreciates your ability to model these guidelines for our attendees. Additional provisions may be included in the Dealer Acceptance Contract. Please review all information thoroughly.
Be kind! - CCT26 serves a community of diverse, passionate, and creative people. We know your opinions will differ and may create tension or even conflict. Please take a breath or a moment if you feel overwhelmed or upset, and reach out to a CCT26 Staff member if you need assistance for a break, for space, or for assistance with another attendee.
Be considerate of differences! - Animals are not allowed in the Dealer Hall or in the CCT26 event space, except in the case of service and support animals as defined by the AODA and the Ontario Human Rights Code. Please contact accessibility@cctoronto.org for further information on this exception.
Be tidy! - Your undisplayed stock should remain underneath or behind your table. Deposit trash and recycling items in the proper bins as soon as practical. Your Dealer space should be “broom clean” once you’ve loaded out. If trash or recycling cans are full, please inform Dealer Staff.
Be creative! - Dealer tables and displays should show your best business self. Dealers may also bring their own table covering to replace or cover the tablecloth provided. All Dealer layout items are subject to the following rules.
By fire code, doors, walkways, aisles, and exits must remain accessible and clear of objects at all times. All entry and exit doors will be clearly marked, both on the map of the Dealer areas and at the entry and exit point(s).
Your layout must not interfere with access to other Dealer spaces or overlap another Dealer’s assigned space.
Your entire layout including table and displays must remain completely within your assigned Dealer space.
The maximum Dealer display height is 2.5 meters, as measured from the floor to the tallest point of the display. Please plan tabletop displays accordingly.
Your layout should be constructed so as to not cause damage to property or people, should be secure and not easily pushed or tipped over, and should not pose a tripping or falling hazard.
Dealers may use wall space for hanging posters or other lightweight items with approved adhesives and fixtures. These approved methods will be detailed in the Dealer Approval Contract.
Be diligent about ownership rights! - All material rights for sale or resale must be either owned by the Dealer or approved by the owner of the material for sale or resale by the Dealer. Dealers may not offer for sale copyright infringing or “bootleg” merchandise, content not approved for sale or resale by the owner or not approved for commercial use, nor content from others not disclosed at the time of application.
Be honest about your process! - Artificial intelligence (A.I.) imagery is allowed for sale if AI use is clearly and explicitly stated, with appropriate credit for references used.
Be in legal compliance! - All products offered must be strictly in compliance with Canada and Ontario laws.
CCT26 promotes a generally safe-for-work (SFW) event, maintains a reasonably family-friendly environment, and allows all-ages registration. Our presentations are generally PG-13 rated, except for age-verified panels during “after-dark” hours as published. To maintain this level of safe-for-work environment for our attendees, there are specific rules for adult or non-SFW (NSFW) content that you may wish to sell at CCT26.
Adult content may be discreetly sold in the Dealer Hall.
Adult content should be clearly marked as viewable by adult attendees only.
Dealers are solely responsible for verifying the age of those viewing adult content, in accordance with Canadian and Ontario laws. You are encouraged to ask for ID before releasing adult content to the buyer for viewing. Attendees that refuse to show ID may be refused the viewing of adult content. Attendees may be referred to CCT26 Staff for questions about this policy.
Adult content may only be shown directly to the age-verified buyer in censored form while in the Dealer Hall.
Adult content should be handed to the buyer in opaque packaging. Dealers are expected to let the buyer know that the item(s) should be stowed in a personal bag, their vehicle, or other non-public space once bought, and must remain covered in the event space.
Determinations on a case-by-case basis will be made for Dealer items if there is a complaint, note by CCT26 Staff, or comment by venue staff which indicates that the item is of an adult nature and is being handled improperly.
Please ask the Dealer Staff, by email or in person, about items that may be questionable for a SFW space. Our team would much rather make a determination in advance than wait for a complaint to happen!
CCT26 Staff adheres to an accessibility-first style accommodation policy whenever practical. As such, Dealer Staff will do their best to accommodate any accessibility requirements that you may have to make your weekend with us as functional as possible! However, to best assist you, you should include any requirements that you have in your dealer application. Additionally, please contact us as soon as possible at accessibility@cctrononto.org and CC dealer@cctoronto.org with any changes, updates, or additions to your accommodation requests. We cannot fix something we don’t know about, so please let us know!
CCT26 Staff enforces restricted access to the Dealer Hall during setup, teardown, and other non-sales hours. This is necessary for the safety of all Dealers, Dealer Assistants, and CCT26 Staff. In order to positively identify those who are authorized to be in the Dealer Hall during non-sales hours, Assistant registration information must be directly confirmed by the Dealer registered for a space before they are given a Dealer Hall access token.
Dealer Assistants must be registered and paid for their event badges for days that they will be onsite.
You can confirm your Assistant(s) in advance through the Dealer Application, or by emailing dealer@cctoronto.org before the end of pre-registration with the badge information of your Assistant(s).
If your Assistant’s information is confirmed in advance by the Dealer Staff, then CCT26 Staff can allow them to enter the Dealer Hall during non-sales hours without you present. The Assistant(s) will be provided with the proper token for entry to the Dealer Hall at registration.
Please include the email, legal name, and UID (if already registered) directly from your Assistant(s) to add to your application or to provide to us in your email.
You can confirm your Assistant(s) at the event. You must be present with your Assistant(s) if you have not shared their registration information through the application or by email to dealer@cctoronto.org.
Once your Assistant(s) is given the appropriate access token, they are permitted to enter the Dealer Hall unaccompanied during non-sales hours.
In all other cases, you must accompany your Assistant(s) in the Dealer Hall at non-sales times.
Anyone with an event badge that you designate can help you behind your table during public sales hours.
Due to space and accessibility constraints, CCT26 does not provide space for more than two (2) people behind a single table at a time.
Any Dealers who wish to table-share should each fill out a Dealer application, even if one Dealer is selling the items for the second Dealer without the second Dealer present. The preference to table-share must be indicated on both Dealer applications, and include the name of the Dealer responsible for payment of the table. Dealers who apply as a non-paying table-share will only be considered for the Dealer Hall if the paying Dealer is approved.
If you decide to share a table after the close of Dealer applications, you must email us at dealer@cctoronto.org before the end of pre-registration for approval. In this case, the non-paying Dealer for table-sharing will still need to fill out an application before the request can be considered. Letting us know about any table-sharing is required. Information about table-sharing Dealers allows us to adequately advertise and properly accommodate all Dealers involved in the Dealer Hall.
The decision about table-sharing does not affect the approval of the main Dealer’s application. If table-sharing is approved, there will be an additional agreement for both Dealers to sign before the event to detail the table-sharing rules. Please email dealer@cctoronto.org if you wish to review a copy of this agreement before applying to share your table with another Dealer.
Dealers who decide to table-share without approval may be subject to removal from the Dealer Hall at the discretion of CCT26 Staff.
All Dealers that apply in the open application period who are not initially accepted will be automatically placed on the waiting list. Dealers will be contacted as tables are made available. Additionally, if tables become available on the day of the event, the Dealer Lead may open onsite table bookings. Dealers will be invoiced the same amount as pre-approved Dealers, subject to proration at the sole discretion of the Dealer Lead.
You may remove your Dealer application from the waiting list at any time in writing by emailing dealer@cctoronto.org from the same email address you used to apply for a Dealer table. Please include additional contact information so that we can verify your decision to withdraw if necessary.
If you cannot attend the convention, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the timing of your cancellation, the Dealer Staff will discuss with you what options for refunds or event credits are available. Any cancellations after the end of the pre-registration deadline will not be discussed until after the conclusion of the event. Our conversation with you in that case will happen no earlier than October 13, 2026, and may be delayed. Please reach out November 1, 2026, or later if we have not contacted you by that date.
Dealers should not expect to be able to plug in more than one electronic device for charging, as no power drops will be available. Dealers are expected to provide a surge protected power cord or strip for their use. Any device which trips a hotel breaker will be disconnected and will not be allowed to reconnect in the event space. Please email dealer@cctoronto.org for a more detailed electricity policy or any questions about acceptable usage of power in the Dealer Hall.
Our venue provides guest accessible wi-fi throughout the hotel. This is a public network. The Dealer team recommends that you use a VPN or a private hotspot for any connections that you make to the network in order to best protect attendee information for transactions. The Dealer Staff will update this section if we have new information to share publicly.
The venue for CCT26 offers limited package services for shipping up to two (2) business days before the event. These services may incur additional charges directly from the venue, which are solely the responsibility of the Dealer. For more details, please email dealer@cctoronto.org and Dealer Staff will get you more detailed information and direct contact information for shipping, receiving, and storage services.
Dealer spaces will be monitored during all access times, from the beginning of load-in on Friday to the end of tear-down on Sunday. Dealer Staff will be available during Dealer Hall hours and non-sales quiet times to field concerns. Dealers, their Assistant(s), venue staff, and CCT26 Staff will still be permitted in the room to tidy up and pack away for one additional hour. You may leave your stock overnight on Friday and Saturday in the Dealer Hall.
Once the Dealer Hall is closed to Dealers and Staff, the room will be locked until the next allowed entry, which will follow the CCT26 published schedule.
Please note that the convention is not responsible for loss or damage to any of your property. The Dealer Staff strongly recommends that any payment methods or high-value items should travel with you instead of remaining overnight in the Dealer Hall.
Each Dealer is responsible for verifying that they can legally vend at our event. Dealers assume any and all responsibility for ensuring that they are in compliance with Federal and Provincial laws and tax requirements. Dealer Staff cannot provide advice to Dealers regarding specific laws or taxes, and strongly recommend that you seek advice from your legal representative, small business advisor, or tax professional.
At the discretion of the CCT26 Board and Dealer Staff, a short list of known tax and legal requirements may be provided by email. However, Dealers should not rely solely on this information for their specific tax situation and should only use it as a general guide as your tax and legal situation may vary significantly depending on your circumstances.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As a Dealer in the Dealer Hall, you do not work for Creator Convention Toronto. The Canada Border Services Agency may bar you from entering Canada if you claim to work for Creator Convention Toronto. You are specifically travelling to Canada to sell your wares at the convention. Additionally, CCT26 is an all-volunteer-run event and does not have any employees. No Dealer or Staff is employed by the event CCT26.
For those Dealers who may need one, a Letter of Business will be provided upon request to any non-Canadian Dealers wishing to sell in Canada for the event weekend. To request a Letter of Business, please send your explicit request and permission to use the legal name, address, and email from your registration for this Letter to dealer@cctoronto.org.
International Dealers may have additional requirements to be in compliance with the requirements to sell their wares in Canada. This may include visas or other authorizations needed to cross the Canada border, and some items may need to be requested in advance. CCT26 Staff will share, when and if available, any resources we know about how to find cross-border Dealer information.
By accepting a space at CCT26, the Dealer agrees to release Creator Convention Toronto from any responsibility and/or claim for loss, damage, or injury to the Dealer or any person representing the Dealer, and further, indemnify and save harmless Creator Convention Toronto from any action, claim damage, or loss whatsoever arising from any damage, injury or loss to any person or persons, including but not limited to loss of property, goods, ware or merchandise, caused by, arising out of, or in any way connected with the exercise by the Dealer and their granted use of the Dealer space assigned.
This package specifically details the responsibilities and expectations for Dealers that wish to vend at CCT26. Neither this document nor your Dealer application are a contract or promise to approve your Dealer application for the CCT26 Dealer Hall. The final terms and conditions of Dealer approval will be provided when a Dealer is approved. You are expected to read and understand the terms in each document provided to you. Please reach out to dealer@cctoronto.org for any questions.
Please remember that CCT26 Staff are volunteers who have chosen to work so you can enjoy our event. We appreciate your understanding, kindness and patience as we work with you through complications, disagreements, and challenges.
